About Me

My big loves are - in no particular order - pop culture, Buffy, 2003-2009 emo, 2007 Britney, Timotheé Chalamet, goats and that band that no-one knows about (yet)
Hi there, I'm Kayleigh!
Thanks for stopping by...
I'm a freelance writer, editor, digital marketer and social media consultant (whew!) I write about film, culture, feminism, mental health, WOC life (and the intersection of all aforementioned) but most predominantly, music.
I am one of two New Music Editors at The Line of Best Fit and co-edit CLOUT - both outlets being massive champions of new artists and bands. I am a regular contributor to
gal-dem's weekly music column Five On It, and have also contributed to Music Week, CLASH, Loud & Quiet, Bitch Flicks and more.
In the past three years, I've worked in Brand Partnerships for SYNCR (working with Music Jobs UK and US, tmrw magazine, Tileyard Education and more), spoke on panels at Focus Wales and Capital FM's Big Music Project, and booked live gigs.
I also currently write creatively with Birmingham-based female and non-binary arts group Script Sirens, as well as on an ad-hoc basis.
